I vividly remember the excitement I felt when I used to be very eager to participate in the annual function of our school.
As primary school students, we were made to participate in an annual function. There were multiple dance and singing performances. I was a part of a group song and a duet dance performance. These occasions always brought enthusiasm among students and teachers. Thus, everyone contributed zealously.
Every year, till I was in class 5th, I participated in the school’s annual event dance and song performances. However, in the 4th year, I also joined the drama and played the role of Badhshah Akbar, a Mughal ruler in a skit called Anarkali.
Usually, I was a part of a group of students of my age group. However, there were instances, when our teachers used to be a part of the performance.
I remember having delightful gatherings of little kids of the same performances in practice time during school hours. We used to share laughter over the wrong steps of a teammate and our lunch boxes together.
To sum up, these times still are some of the best memories of childhood and school life. I still have pieces of my costumes as a memoir.

I believe I had the privilege to experience weekly art classes with the theme “best out of waste” under the supervision of some of the best art teachers of my time.
Every Saturday, we were expected to bring waste materials like useless bits of paper, pistachio shells, cans, cardboard pieces, plastic, empty refills, shreds of cloth, etc.
This used to be a conventional routine for every Saturday except for the second Saturday of the month as it was a holiday for primary scholars.
As students, we used to bring our own material. Hence, everyone’s “best out of waste” craft was different. However, there used to be instances where we had to work in pairs or groups if any of us were forgetful of this day and didn’t bring the required materials.
This time was when our creative selves came out. Moreover, we were pushed to learn and make our own decisions. In addition, all the students got a chance to like-minded individuals, creating wonders out of waste!
To sum up, this fueled our creativity and made us think out of the box. This made the individual mind have a refined vision and articulate all ideas well.
Here is the third sample for “Describe an interesting activity that you remember enjoying most in your primary school” for you to practice:
The memories of this activity are blurry. However, it is also one of the best days I spent at school.
The school hosted a campaign for primary schoolers to teach them gardening. Thus, we were asked to bring a sapling of our own along with gardening tools. On the school grounds, a certain section was dedicated to this activity.
I remember going to school with a colorful gardening tool set with a small bucket. I still get tickles in my stomach while remembering those days. I was excited and prepared. We all had our teachers around us to help us plant our saplings.
All the students were gathered with their tools and plants in a single row. Further, we were allotted a space on the ground to plant our seedlings.
I enjoyed it a lot as I got to learn about different plants and leaves that day. Moreover, my sapling was from my lawn at home. Thus, I was assuming it to stay there for the rest of its life. However, this was not the case and our plants didn’t survive for long.
To sum up, despite all our saplings dying the very next month, we all learned about the essentials of gardening.

Whenever the selections and trials would start, our teachers never hand-picked students. Everyone was encouraged to give the audition first. This helped them seek out genuinely talented students. There were several activities that involved student volunteers. Moreover, students worked as teams and had a group leader as a teacher. This made them have the correct supervision of a teacher and this helped us learn a lot from each other and the teacher.
Yes, this was an annual event for primary school children to showcase their talent. This function usually had dance, drama, and singing. It has been more than a decade since I last participated in it. Still, it is one of the most crucial annual events of my primary school now as well.
As it was an important event at school, teachers and other staff were the managers of this entire event. Moreover, some of them also participated and joined the stage with the students to support them.
