It Is Impossible for People to Take Risks- Sample 1

Below given is the IELTS writing task 2 sample answer band 9 for the test-takers. Have a look.

Introduction

Taking risks in both personal and professional lives is essential for success and self-development. However, I strongly believe that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages as it opens several opportunities for people.

Body

One of the main advantages of taking risks is that it can lead to significant rewards and opportunities. For example, if we talk about the professional world, taking risks can lead to promotions, higher salaries, and more arduous and rewarding work. In the personal life, taking risks can lead to new experiences, relationships, and personal growth. For example, taking the risk of travelling to a new country or state and converting it into a new hobby can be enriching and accomplishing experiences that may not have been possible before.

On the other hand, there are some disadvantages too of taking risks. For example, taking risks can sometimes lead to disappointment, which can be emotionally and financially enervating. However, in the professional world, taking risks can also lead to job loss and career setbacks, which can become difficult to recover from. Additionally, taking risks can lead to physical harm or danger. Thus, it is important to carefully weigh the potential risks and opportunities before deciding on your life.

Conclusion

To conclude, I would say that the advantages of taking risks exceed the disadvantages generally. For example, I have taken the risk of pursuing a challenging and demanding career.

It Is Impossible for People to Take Risks- Sample 2

Here is the second sample answer for the IELTS essay writing topic “It is impossible for people to take risks.”

Introduction

Whether taking risks in both professional and personal lives is a boon to the public and an intense topic of debate. However, in my opinion, taking risks has more advantages in comparison to disadvantages.

Body

People who like to achieve higher positions in their professional lives must take risks. They should take risks in their jobs for better opportunities and financial security. However, to become self-employed you need to get involved in various ventures, as the revenue an employee can generate is somehow nearly as high as that of a successful entrepreneur. About their personal lives, people who generally make tough decisions appear to derive joy from their lives with higher prospects.

On the other hand, it is also believed that taking risks sometimes depresses people. This comes from the fact that monetary difficulties and emotional stress are believed to come soon after reality does not meet the expectations. This results in great failure and prohibiting individuals from living happily. Sometimes people also experience financial loss or stress. They thought the greater the risk, the greater the profit they will gain but it does not happen.

Conclusion

To sum up, in my experience taking risks involves challenges, but the benefits of new opportunities and personal growth always outweigh the drawbacks. A willingness to embrace uncertainty will always bring long-term success.

It Is Impossible for People to Take Risks- Sample 3

Below is the third sample answer for the IELTS essay writing topic “It is impossible for people to take risks.”

Introduction

It becomes sometimes important to make some risky decisions in personal and professional life. However, I believe the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages.

Body

Making a risky move hurts a person sometimes in the short-term goals. For example, adults who are psychologically controlled by their parents as they still receive financial support from them. If they stop depending on their parents they can go after their dreams, and face the downfall of losing the comfort of their parent’s money. However, according to me a short-term sacrifice can be a major disadvantage in life but it will pay off in the long run.

On the other hand, risks bring opportunities. One of the major advantages is it brings life-changing situations. For example, running your own business or going after an unconventional career path, will lead to financial independence and satisfaction. However, by stepping out of their comfort zones individuals achieve their goals that they might not have imagined earlier. Another benefit of taking risks is the possibility of moving to a new country and switching careers, that pushes the individuals to adapt to the new challenges.

Conclusion

To sum up, the risks may come up with the disadvantages but there are more pros for personal growth. So, the benefits would always outweigh the disadvantages.
