Therefore, its scores were not accepted for visa purposes. But, the Educational Testing Service (ETS), the body behind the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), on Monday announced that TOEFL scores will again be considered valid for all Australian visa applications.

TOEFL iBT is accepted by 100 percent of Australian universities and over 12,500 institutions worldwide across 160 countries. It is a standardized test to measure the English language ability of non-native speakers wishing to get enrolled in English-speaking universities.
The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) was put under review by the Australian Department of Home Affairs (DHA) last July and the scores were no longer being accepted. However, the department has currently made the changes to the test for Australian visa applications.
