Canada President’s Scholarship At University of Guelph

Established in 1987 in honour of the distinguished members of the University and are considered one of the most prestigious scholarship at the University of Guelph. In addition to this, The University of Guelph, located in Ontario, Canada, is offering a Welcome to Canada President’s Scholarship worth $2000 for all international undergraduate students. Moreover, the University also guarantees residence for all years of study for international undergraduate and master’s students.

Regarding the scholarship, Dr. Charlotte Yates, Vice Chancellor Stated, “We feel that a varied and global community enhances the unique student experience we are known for. This new $2,000 scholarship will be offered in addition to the University's International Entrance Scholarships, which range in value from $5,500 to $9,500 and are awarded to international students entering post secondary education for the first time in appreciation of their outstanding academic success.”

Note: The international PhD candidates will be receiving guaranteed housing for their first year of study.

Eligibility Criteria for the Scholarship

To be eligible for the Scholarship, aspirants must meet the following criteria:

• Indian candidates need to have a class 12th board certificate with a first division. It includes the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Indian School Certificate (ISC), or Punjab School Education Board (PSEB)
• Students wishing to pursue a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Commerce who do not have 12th Standard Math register and complete http://ilc.org/ MHF4U Math for Biological Science or Commerce.
• And MCV4U Math for Computer Science/Physical Science degrees with a minimum of 75 to 80 per cent, depending on the degree or major.
• Candidates must score this much in English proficiency tests:
• 6.5 in IELTS with no band less than 6.
• TOEFL: Internet-based 89 overall with a minimum score of 21 in each category.
• PTE: 60 with a minimum of 60 in each component.
• Applicants will be required to submit a study permit and provincial attestation letter.
