- It has 13 undergraduate downtown residences including 3 hotel-style residences, 6 dorm-style residences, and 4 apartment-style residences
- The charming Macdonald Campus features the dormitory-style Laird Hall and the apartment-style Eco-Residence. Both are located close to campus facilities, including classrooms, the library, and many more student services
- McGill graduate students have the option of choosing between single bedrooms in shared-facilities houses and single occupancy apartments
- The Mandatory Residential Meal Plan applies to all students living in the undergraduate downtown residence
- All halls are equipped with tremendous facilities like single size/queen size beds and mattresses (most beds are loft beds), desk and study chair, dresser, bookshelf, night table, vertical blinds, etc

- Single or double shared rooms are mostly available in the city for students
- Rent includes internet, electricity, furniture and security, whereas some halls also provide meal plan facility
- Most of the halls are close to one or another university
- Average rent ranges from $650 to $800 per month

No, it is not possible to change the study program once the students have submitted their application. If students want to change the study program chosen or if they want to add a second choice, they will have to submit a new application. The application must be submitted by the students before the application deadline, otherwise they will lose the chance to change their course.
