With an acceptance rate of 65%, admission is not very selective of the college. However, admission to undergraduate courses especially can be hard due to the requirements of the high academic GPAs and competitive admissions. Students who are looking for postgraduation courses such as advanced diplomas or graduate certificates will find it easy to get a place if they have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60-65% experience.
It refers to the established form of routes that the students take within a post-secondary system, which considers prior learning and allows them to uplift their credentials when shifting from one program to another. Students who have either partially or fully completed a credential with the requisite GPA can change from one to another or another post-secondary institution.
Students who have met the eligibility criteria for working off-campus can work 20 hours per week and study full-time. This will be confirmed by the conditions mentioned on the work permit. As a part of eligibility criteria, the student needs to be a full-time student, must be enrolled in the program, must be at least six months and have begun their studies in the college.
The college starts sharing the offers of admission for the fall intake as early as November 1 every year. The college offers regarding admission or program, and additional admission requirements will be given later in March. Students are required to keep track of the application status, and the same can be done by logging into the application portal with the allotted username and password.
International students often face financial pressure, and to help with this, the college offers some help to offset the cost of studies. All students looking to begin their studies will be allowed to avail of the scholarship ranging from $1000 to $2000. The exact amount will be known to the student with the offer of admission. Students will receive the amount in two instalments issued early in the first and second terms of study.
