The applicants need to apply for any course they choose online by using the university’s online Application Portal. After carefully choosing the course, the students are advised to read the online application guidance of the university. The guidance has information regarding how to complete the application form. It also has the list of supporting documents students need to submit.

Yes, the students will be asked to provide two referee contacts as a part of the online application process. After the successful submission of the application, the referees will receive an automated email with the link to the students' form, which must be completed by the referee. The referee can also upload an alternate reference document in PDF form.

The LSHTM provides the students of MSc with a decision in six weeks. But the applications may take longer than usual or the specified time in some circumstances. The students will be contacted by the admission team of the university if there is any delay.

Currently, the university offers six different programs of distance learning. The programs can be taken as a Master’s degree, PG Certificate or PG Diploma. The programs offered by the university allow students to study at their suitable pace and be flexible. Clinical trials, public health, Epidemiology, Infectious diseases, Global health policy and Health in Humanitarian Crises are the six study programs for distance learning.

The university charges a standard non-refundable application fee of £ 50. The fee applies to all the courses of the master's degree level and must be paid during the application submission by students. The income generated through these payments is shared between the hardship funds and scholarships of students.
