Yes, the University of South Wales conduct a disclosure and barring service check for the students before they get shortlisted for placements. This will detail the background of the students for any criminal activities. Students here are required to deal with sensitive information. 

Sometimes the application process gets delayed in university due to certain reasons like the requirement of additional information from the applicant. Also, for certain courses, the university mandates interviews or auditions. Students will receive confirmation via email that will detail the start date, title of the course and the location. 

Yes, it is important for the students to pay the tuition fees for the course pursued by them even in the placement year. But the fees prescribed by the University of South Wales this year do not exceed 20% of the standard tuition fees. On the payment of the same, students can have access to several facilities such as academic assistance, financial advice, visa support etc

Students who have received a conditional offer from the university but are not able to meet the minimum IELTS score as required by the course can have access to these programmes. The university runs three programmes, the duration of which ranges from 5 weeks to 15 weeks. It is held three times a year where the first is May and August start, June and September start and August, November and January start. 

The University of South Wales issues confirmation of acceptance to study statement within 6 months before starting the course date. Students can use this statement once for their visa application. 

If a student applying for admission at the University of South Wales fails to get a visa, then it is mandatory for them to contact the Enquiries and Admissions team. All the letter of refusal is first scanned, and on proving that mistake has been made, the university will refer students to the IISA team, who will assist in reviewing the application.
